Why is Reunion Brewing Company really a reunion?
Seven and a half years ago, Brent Thompson and Kat Stevens met each other working at a restaurant and bar in Dallas, TX. Bartending was a summer job for Kat and a temporary gig for Brent as well. They stayed in touch as the years went on, but
new adventures took a hold of each of them. Kat graduated from college and joined the Executive Development Program at a national luxury retailer. Brent also graduated from college in Dallas, and built out a strong network of friends
and business partners among Dallas's buzzing restaurant and bar scene. Kat went on to get her MBA from The Johnson School at Cornell University, and that's where the reunion all began.
While living in Ithaca, NY, Kat and Brent stumbled
upon a passion for exploring new craft beers and wanted to learn how to brew. They started home brewing and it's been a roller coaster ever since!
Call it luck, fate, coincidence or what you will, but
somehow they reunited with the city they both love: Dallas, TX. Upon moving back
to Dallas, they decided the time was right to build out their common
dream--launch a brewery they could call their own. Today, the reunited team is
well on its way to making this dream a reality. Brent and Kat are each unique
with their own sets of expertise (and ah humm….their own attitudes), but the
Reunion team has one thing in common--a strong entrepreneurial passion for
brewing great tasting, award-winning beer. Cheers to that!
